Transport Guidance for Steel Cargoes GuideThe American Club is pleased to present, Transport Guidance for Steel Cargoes, which addresses the carriage and shipment of steel cargoes by sea. This guidance draws upon the knowledge and experience that the American Club has derived from its own claims, from those who are engaged in the operation and/or chartering of vessels for the carriage of steel cargoes, and from surveyors regularly instructed to attend steel cargo loadings and discharges.

1.    Humidity-Temperature-Cargo Ventilation Record Book form:  Reference is made to Section 6.9.1 and Table 6.2 of the Transport Guidance for Steel Cargoes; a template of the Humidity-Temperature-Cargo Ventilation Record Book is provided.
 
2.    Bill of Lading Form for Steel Cargoes:  Reference is made to a standard worded bill of lading as discussed in Sections 8.3, 9.2.3, 9.3, 9.4, 10.3 and an example is presented as Appendix 4 of the Transport Guidance for Steel Cargoes, with a template of the Bill of Lading Form for Steel Cargoes presented.
